'GardenBookStudio originated from a single vision: to offer real Neapolitan pizza in London. Established by the Rossi family in 1985, our pizza shop began as a humble, family-operated business with recipes going back generations.
Marco Rossi, our pioneer, acquired the craft of pizza creation on her journeys across Italy, learning from renowned pizza chefs in Naples—the home of pizza. After coming back to the UK, she was determined to replicate the essence of authentic Italian pizza, using longstanding techniques and top-notch ingredients.
What started as a quaint 12-seater pizza shop has expanded into a cherished community staple, yet our dedication to excellence and authenticity remains unwavering. We continue to employ the original wood-burning oven methods, prepare our dough fresh every single day, and seek out the premium quality ingredients available.
To this day, 'GardenBookStudio is still owned and run by the family, with the Rossis' second generation now at the helm of our fervent team. Although we've adopted some contemporary updates, the core of our enterprise is unchanged: to produce luscious, genuine pizza that unites people.
